MEET THE FOUNDER
I created OhSoYas Media while I was a student at Prairie View A&M University, as I began pursuing my true passion for media and storytelling. Stepping into the media world, I realized I had more to offer — and more to say.
From the very beginning, my vision was to create a safe space for voices like mine. A space where people could speak their truth and be celebrated for their stories. Music has always been my first love, and through journalism I’ve been able to honor that love by highlighting artists, culture, and the stories that move us.
As OhSoYas Media continues to grow, I’ve expanded beyond journalism into creative services. Based in Houston, TX , I also partner with small businesses and content creators to bring their ideas to life — through photography, video editing, content shoots, and social media support.
At its heart, OhSoYas Media is about amplifying voices, telling stories, and helping others shine — whether on stage, online, or in their communities.
